Experts say

91 points Wine Spectator. “Powerful, with concentrated slate and mineral notes to the dark currant, dried berry and raspberry ganache flavours. Very lithe mid-palate, with a long focused finish.”

Silver medal at International Wine Challenge 2015 “Fresh, ripe wine offering brambles and fruit over a plate of chewy tannins. A true Douro creature.”

Very deep colour. Nose and flavour of berries and spice. Nice mouth feel. Very smooth drinking.
I’ve been drinking it on it’s own but would be pretty good with most red meats I’d imagine.
    Decently priced. A solid 4/5

A genuine ‘black red’. Very rich, texture like chocolate in the mouth. Some spice on the nose and palate, and lingering finish. Very good stuff.
