    :

Lovely tobacco, coffee and aromas of red berries. Great with red meats.

  2. 5 out of 5

    (verified owner):

Great fruity aroma. Full of flavour upfront: lots of berry fruits balanced with spice. Plenty of body without tasting woody, or too heavy on tannins. All the stuff I look for in wine – I’ll be buying more.

  3. 5 out of 5

    (verified owner):

WOW! I really enjoyed this wine.

I’m no wine expert, I can’t pretend to wax on about aromas of spices, hints of fruit etc but the sheer enjoyability and richness of taste said to me “hey, this is a superb wine”.

I can’t wait to work my way through the rest of the case; if they all live up to the exceptional standard of this first bottle I shall be delighted.

A light red wine, considering the alcohol content.

Similar aroma to Port. Quite sweet.

Nice aftertaste if you let it come through. A bit too ‘pleasant’. Not challenging.

    Blackcurrant flavours.

  10. 5 out of 5

    :

Fruity flavour, feels medium/light even though it’s 14%. Would go nicely with a pasta dish with a meat sauce (like wild boar or hare).

    :

Light, fruity red to be paired with pasta.

  12. 5 out of 5

Fruity and sort of sweet. Would go with some light meat like chicken.

  13. 5 out of 5

Berries. Light smell but heavy on taste.

I don’t really like reds, but this tastes better and better the more of it I drink!
